We are beginning to see signs, a light at the end of a very long tunnel, a beacon from the shore.  Whatever just happened to us is coming to an end it seems and we are emerging from the other side of it seemingly.  The rules and restrictions, shutdowns and sheltering, masks and mandates are loosening every single day.  There is somewhere in there what looks like a pre-Covid world, like a little bit of normal thinking, actions and ideals.

This month will mark openings of things that we had before March of 2020 taken almost for granted.  Dine in eating, attractions, beaches, parks and travel are among the things that are getting their life back.  Memorial Day travel will be at an all-time high and it seems like people are wanting to free themselves one step at a time.

The world is opening too; favorite destinations like Mexico have been open for a while with restrictions as have other countries like Puerto Rico.  Greece and Turkey are open and soon Ireland will be too.  Israel opened to groups this month and we are pleased to say that one of our groups was among the first to fly into Tel Aviv.  Twenty groups were approved for entrance by the Health Authority and this group of thirteen were among them.

It feels hopeful doesn’t it?

Then there are those still staying close, still waiting and giving this virus more time to completely go, and we respect that because everyone must do what they must in this hour.  Yet even with these groups of people plans are being made for travel in 2022.  That alone is optimistic even in the wait.

Normalcy once was considered a little hum-drum, a bit unexciting or even boring.  Right now though? It seems brave and courageous.  Normal movement, conversations and gatherings are so welcomed.  I wonder if we have learned that the wonder of living can be found in the ordinary as well as the extraordinary.

Our business is travel and adventure.  We love nothing more than planning and the process of trip building and of getting you where you need to be and want to go.  Over these 29 years, GroupSource Travel has helped individuals, families and groups go and go again.  So normal for us, are groups going to make a difference in the world, win the championship, make lasting memories or be rewarded for a job well done.  We like that kind of normal and we look forward to helping you find your way back out into the world again.
